Mother of ISIS Recruit

I saw the raw interview video of this woman talking about her son who had left home to join ISIS, and knew it would make for a powerful short form video. It was a delicate balance to add some basic production value while respecting the seriousness of the subject matter. I'm not 100 percent sure I got it 100 percent right, but many of the language services at VOA and their audiences responded well to it. It turned out to be one of the most watched videos on the VOA Indonesian and Georgian services Facebook pages. I produced, edited, and did the graphics.
